Westworld

Before it became a hit tv series for HBO — WESTWORLD started as a futuristic sci-fi thriller written and directed by Michael Crichton (author of Jurassic Park) about a doomed adult theme park (sound familiar?). Role-playing guests visit three fantasy lands — Medieval World, Roman World, and West World — which are populated by life-like robots. Yul Brynner famously portrays the android gunslinger who ends up malfunctioning and starts murdering the park guests. Also starring Richard Benjamin and James Brolin.
