The Mahoning Drive-In Theater, Pennsylvania's All-Retro, 35mm Cult Phenomenon, is taking its show on the road! Join us for a special screening of Mario Bava's KILL, BABY... KILL! (1966) on 35mm. Hosted by members of the Mahoning Drive-In crew, THE MAHONING ROADSHOW brings memories of warm summer nights to cold winter months, with live introductions, Q&A’s, and more fun, recreating a night at the drive-in for indoor audiences.

About the Movie. Witches! Creepy dolls! Killer-kid ghosts! Straight from the mind of the greatest Italian horror filmmaker of the 20th century – Mario Bava – comes KILL, BABY... KILL! A coroner and a medical student investigate a village being haunted by the ghost of a little girl. Boasting gorgeous gothic production design with vibes that scream David Lynch-meets-Suspria. This film was once dubbed by Martin Scorsese as 'the most successful realization of Gothic horror-meets-bad-acid-trip.'

About the Roadshow. The Mahoning Drive-In Theater is the premiere outdoor celluloid throwback destination for film fans the world over. They are bringing their love of cinema under-the-stars and the drive-in vibe to east coast theaters, screening 35mm prints of retro classics and deep cuts, along with vintage trailers, snack bar ads, and intermission reels.

Event Details

This rare print from the Mahoning Drive-In 35mm vault will be screened under the film’s alternative English-language title – Curse of the Living Dead. Proceeds from this screening will be split to help support both the Mahoning Drive-In Theater and the Hiway Theater. Because we are operating with a single projector, this special 35mm screening will be presented with a short intermission of vintage drive-in intermission snipes to accommodate a reel change!
